Civil Engineering Technologist Full Time

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled Civil Engineering Technologist to join our client’s dynamic team in Durbanville, South Africa.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design municipal services from conception through to construction.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct site assessments and feasibility studies to inform design processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards and regulations.
• Develop and review design documentation, project specifications, and reports.
• Oversee construction phases, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Utilize software tools for drafting and modeling, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
• Mentor junior engineering staff and share best practices within the team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Must be registered as a Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr Tech) or eligible to register within the next 12 months.
• Minimum of 5-10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
• Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or similar.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of local regulations and industry standards.
• Project Management experience is an advantage.
