Business Unit Manager (Plant Hire) – Outjo, Namibia Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client is urgently seeking the expertise of a Business Unit Manager (Plant Hire) in Outjo, Namibia.

Requirements

• +10 years’ experience in management
• +15 years’ experience in mechanical engineering within the plant hire industry
• Candidates currently based in Namibia will be preferred

Duties:

• Overseeing all the operational activities of the plant, Plant Maintenance, Parts Procurement and Plant replacement policy implementation.
• Managing the performance of the team, including staff training, evaluation and assessment while ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations
• Controlling expenditure and managing capital requirements within a set budget
• Preparing production and performance reports for senior management
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive maintenance program for the plant
• Manage diesel control and usages
• Maintaining inventory levels and controlling the flow of product
