Hire Resolves client is looking for a Building Foreman to join their team in Cape Town. The responsibility of the Building Foreman is to manage overall construction activities, coordinating different trades, ensuring compliance with plans, and maintaining safety standards on-site. All tasks should be completed to the high standard required by the client and in accordance with its Policies and Procedures.

Prioritize cost-saving opportunities and manage risks through effective planning.
Maintain reliable control systems and participate in audits.
Optimize the use of materials, equipment, and labor; oversee plant acquisition, deployment, and maintenance.
Ensure efficient storage and resource allocation using cost-effective methods.
Contribute to and follow the Works Program; create short-term plans and direct teams.
Break down concrete projects into stages, allocate resources, and resolve delays or quality issues.
Manage concrete works from preparation to installation, ensuring adherence to specifications and timelines.
Monitor progress, control quality, and support cost-saving efforts.
Perform and oversee trades like tiling, painting, and plastering.
Ensure systematic project monitoring, address non-conformance issues, and maintain documentation.
Ensure compliance with standards, manage material requisitions, and prevent rework.
Monitor progress and quality, report potential losses, and support procurement efficiency.
Provide transparent progress reports, highlight variations, and suggest corrective actions.
Maintain safety standards, report accidents accurately, and document daily site activities in a site diary.
