Broker Consultant Full Time NEW

A leading Underwriting Manager in South Africa is looking for an experienced Broker Consultant – Building Insurance with strong relationship management and technical underwriting experience to join their team in Nelspruit. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive Broker Consultant to manage a regional portfolio, onboard new partners, and drive business growth across the province. If you are FAIS compliant with RE 1 certification and an established track record in broker consulting, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Manage and grow an assigned regional broker portfolio by building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
• Identify and onboard new broker partners to expand the company’s footprint within the Mpumalanga region.
• Provide comprehensive technical product support and guidance to brokers regarding building insurance and underwriting requirements.
• Conduct regular training sessions and presentations for brokers to ensure they are fully equipped to sell the company’s products.
• Track and analyse regional sales targets and broker performance to ensure business growth objectives are met.
• Stay informed on competitor activity and market trends within the insurance industry to provide feedback to the marketing team.
• Ensure all broker onboarding and interactions remain compliant with FAIS and internal company regulations.
• Travel extensively throughout the province to visit brokers and attend meetings at the Gauteng Head Office when required.

Requirements:

• Matric certificate.
• 5 to 10 years of insurance industry experience with a strong understanding of underwriting.
• Minimum of 3 years in broker consulting.
• RE 1 certification.
• FAIS compliance.
