Key Responsibilities:
– Prepare and maintain accurate financial records for the company
– Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
– Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of financial data
– Assist with payroll processing and employee expense reports
– Prepare monthly financial reports for management review
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
– Maintain confidentiality of financial information and comply with all company policies and regulations
Requirements:
– Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting role
– Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel and Sage One
– Experience in the mining industry preferred
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Certificate or diploma in bookkeeping or accounting
