Job Title: Bookkeeper, Construction Industry

Hire Resolve is seeking a skilled and experienced Bookkeeper to join our client’s construction industry team in Johannesburg. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and excellent attention to detail.
Responsibilities:
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records for the construction projects
– Process invoices, receipts, and payments in a timely manner
– Prepare monthly financial reports including profit and loss statements and balance sheets
– Monitor project budgets and track expenses
– Reconcile bank statements and accounts
– Assist with payroll processing and employee benefits administration
– Assist with tax preparation and filing
Requirements:
– Proven work experience as a Bookkeeper or Accountant in the construction industry (3 Years)
– Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks or Sage, IQRetail
– Strong understanding of construction project costs and budgets
– Excellent organizational and time-management skills
– Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
