Job Title: BI Developer
Location: Stellenbosch, Western Cape, South Africa
We are seeking a skilled Business Intelligence (BI) Developer to join our team in Stellenbosch. The BI Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining business intelligence solutions that allow us to make informed business decisions based on data analysis.
Responsibilities:
– Design, develop, and implement BI solutions using tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar software
– Analyze and interpret complex data sets to identify trends and patterns
– Create visually engaging and interactive dashboards and reports for stakeholders
– Collaborate with team members to gather requirements and ensure solutions meet business needs
– Maintain and support existing BI solutions, troubleshooting issues as needed
– Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
– 3+ years of experience as a BI Developer or similar role
– Strong proficiency with BI tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or similar software
– Experience working with databases and SQL queries
– Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
– Strong communication and collaboration abilities
