Assistant Accountant Full Time

Hire Resolve’s Client is looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Accountant to join. As an Assistant Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with day-to-day financial activities, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall financial operations of the company. Responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation and analysis of financial statements
• Support the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Process and review invoices, payments, and expense reports
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
• Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management
• Prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports
• Assist with internal and external audits
• Provide financial support to other departments and team members
• Stay up-to-date with financial regulations and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office suite
• Knowledge of financial regulations and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• CPA or similar certification is a plus

Benefits

• Salary: R132K/yr – R90K/yr, negotiable
