Job Title: Accountant Full-time

Job Description:
Hire Resolve is looking for an experienced and reliable Accountant to join our client’s accounting team. The Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the company and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
– Managing and overseeing all accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll
– Reconciling financial statements and preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
– Coordinating and managing the month-end and year-end close processes
– Monitoring and analyzing financial data and providing insights to management
– Ensuring compliance with all tax regulations and reporting requirements
– Managing and mentoring junior bookkeeping staff
– Developing and implementing accounting policies and procedures
– Assisting with budgeting and forecasting processes
– Participating in financial audits and providing necessary documentation and support
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
– 3+ years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping roles with full function
– Registered with SAIPA or SAICA
– Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
– Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
