Position Summary:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the accurate recording, management, and reporting of financial transactions up to Balance Sheet level. The role involves the drafting of Annual Financial Statements and providing critical financial insights to support strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Approve and review customer and supplier invoices and credit notes
• Reconcile and review customer and supplier accounts
• Liaise with clients and service providers
• Authorize payments and manage beneficiary setups
• Review and reconcile bank statements
• Perform general financial administrative tasks as needed
• Process financial transactions up to Balance Sheet level
• Review and approve monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
• Prepare and report on monthly management accounts and oversee year-end processes
• Draft Annual Financial Statements using Draftworx
• Compile, submit, and finalize annual budgets
• Prepare and submit weekly and monthly cash flow reports
• Analyze and report on budget variances monthly
• Manage SARS submissions and queries, including EMP201, EMP501, VAT, and Income Tax
• Handle Workman’s Compensation annual reconciliations and payments
• Submit annual CIPC returns and manage company detail updates

Minimum Requirements:

1. National Diploma or Degree in Finance or Accounting (or a related field)
2. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable & Receivable, Cashbook, or general accounting
3. Solid experience in financial reporting and analysis
4. Strong proficiency in financial tools and software (Advanced Excel and Microsoft Office Suite essential)
5. Completed Articles – essential
6. Experience with Xero accounting software is advantageous
7. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments
8. Demonstrated problem-solving ability and sound decision-making in a fast-paced environment
9. Own reliable transport
