Web Developer Contract

Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a Web Developer to join their team in Centurion, Gauteng on a project based contract.

Responsibilities:

• Website Development: Building and customizing WordPress sites using themes and plugins.

• Theme/Plugin Development: Creating or modifying themes and plugins.

• Site Maintenance: Regular updates for security and performance.

• Troubleshooting: Fixing functionality and security issues.

• SEO Optimization: Enhancing site visibility in search engines.

• Responsive Design: Ensuring sites are mobile-friendly.

• Performance Optimization: Improving site speed and efficiency.

• Collaboration: Working with designers and content creators.

• Client Support: Training clients on site management.

• Security Practices: Implementing measures to protect against vulnerabilities.

• Content Management: Assisting with content organization within WordPress.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
• 2+ years of experience in web development
• Extensive WordPress experience
• Strong understanding of responsive design and web accessibility
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
