Technical Sales Representative Full Time

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Technical Sales Representative to join our team in Cape Town.

 This is a field-based external sales role, focusing on building strong customer relationships and driving sales and rentals of industrial equipment and tooling solutions.

 Key Responsibilities:

• Drive sales and rentals of industrial equipment and tooling
• Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Provide expert technical support and guidance to clients
• Conduct site visits and prepare quotations
• Perform follow-ups and close sales
• Arrange and assist with product demonstrations (training provided)
• Achieve and exceed monthly sales and gross profit targets
• Plan and manage a weekly customer visit schedule
• Perform cold calling to generate new business leads
• Handle sales administration including invoicing and back orders
• Comply with all Safety, Health, and Environmental policies
• Perform additional duties as required

 Requirements:

• Matric certificate
• Relevant trade qualification (Welder or Boilermaker Trade Test preferred)
• Minimum 3–4 years stable experience in technical sales (preferably welding, engineering, or industrial equipment)
• Own reliable vehicle and valid driver’s licence (Code 08 or equivalent)
• Own cellphone
• Fluent in Afrikaans and English
• Strong customer relationship and problem-solving skills
• Excellent planning, organisational, and time management abilities
