Job Title: Tax Specialist

Job Summary:
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly skilled and knowledgeable Tax Specialist to join our team. The Tax Specialist will be responsible for providing expert tax advice and support to clients, ensuring compliance with tax laws and regulations, and identifying opportunities to minimize tax liabilities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax law, excellent analytical skills, and exceptional attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide expert tax advice and support to clients on various tax matters, including income tax, VAT, and other applicable taxes.
2. Prepare and file tax returns for individuals, businesses, and corporations in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
3. Conduct thorough research on tax issues and stay up-to-date on changes in tax laws and regulations.
4. Develop and implement tax planning strategies to minimize tax liabilities for clients.
5. Assist clients in resolving tax-related issues and disputes with tax authorities.
6. Communicate complex tax concepts and strategies to clients in a clear and concise manner.
7. Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive tax solutions to clients.
8. Maintain accurate and detailed records of tax-related transactions and documentation.
9. Ensure compliance with all tax laws, regulations, and reporting requirements.
10. Provide training and mentorship to junior tax staff members.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional certification preferred.
2. Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in tax preparation, planning, and compliance.
3. Strong knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures.
4. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
5. Ability to communicate complex tax concepts effectively to clients.
6. Experience with tax preparation software and other financial tools.
7. Strong organizational and time management skills.
8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
9. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
10. Experience in a accounting firm or tax consulting firm is preferred.
