Software Quality Assurance Specialist Full Time

Role Overview

• We are looking for a detail-oriented Software Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of bespoke software platforms. This role is ideal for a QA professional with strong experience in both manual and automated testing, particularly using Playwright.
• You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to validate functionality, identify defects, and drive continuous improvements in testing processes. A strong focus will be placed on test automation, CI/CD integration, and maintaining high-quality user experiences.
  

Key Requirements

• Proven experience in software QA or testing
• Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and best practices
• Hands-on experience with Playwright (essential)
• Experience with UI and integration testing
• Ability to design, execute, and maintain automated test scripts
• Experience integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies

Background & Experience

• Proven experience in software quality assurance, software testing, or a similar role
• Solid understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies
• Experience with regression testing and defect management
• Exposure to automated testing frameworks and tools (Playwright experience is essential)
• Hands-on experience designing and executing automated test scripts for UI and integration testing
• Track record of implementing automation strategies that reduced regression cycles and improved release quality
• Experience contributing to or setting up test automation infrastructure in Agile or DevOps environments
• Ability to produce clear test documentation for both technical and business audiences
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not essential)
• Industry experience in financial services and/or exposure to Azure services is advantageous
