Senior Structural/Civil Engineer Full Time

Hire Resolve is seeking a seasoned Senior Structural/Civil Engineer to join our client based in Benoni. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, analyzing, and overseeing various civil engineering projects. This role involves collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to ensure the successful completion of projects within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and analysis of civil and structural engineering projects.
• Structural experience with the capabilities to help out on civil projects
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and documentation.
• Conduct site inspections and assessments to monitor project progress and compliance.
• Collaborate with architects, clients, and other stakeholders to meet project specifications.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in civil/structural engineering.
• Registered Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) with ECSA.
• Knowledge and application of Civil3D on civil projects advantageous.
• Strong project management skills and experience.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective teamwork and client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
