Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Developer to join their innovative development team in Kloof, KwaZulu- Natal. This individual will play a critical role in designing, developing, testing, and maintaining a variety of software applications — from web and mobile solutions to embedded systems and APIs. The ideal candidate should possess both a strong technical foundation and a collaborative mindset to drive impactful digital solutions.
Design, develop, and maintain interactive and user-friendly web and mobile applications.
Build and support IOT and embedded systems for smart technology solutions.
Develop, enhance, and support software applications including cloud logic and Power Platform apps.
Create and maintain APIs for web integration, mobile apps, and third-party systems.
Design and manage SQL databases with efficient data transformation and querying.
Apply DevOps practices including source control, CI/CD, and Azure resource management.
Maintain internal IT infrastructure and ensure reliable operations.
Document code and algorithms to support long-term maintainability and knowledge sharing.
Relevant IT-related degree or equivalent qualification.
3 to 5 years of hands-on software development experience.
Strong proficiency in application integration and technical programming.
Practical experience in DevOps methodology and infrastructure management.
Back-end Development: C#, Python.
Front-end Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
Database Development: SQL, NoSQL, Data Modeling & Management.
API Development: REST, GraphQL.
CI/CD & DevOps: Automated testing, version control (Git), deployment pipelines.
Cloud Platforms: Azure, Microsoft SQL Azure, Data Factories.
IOT & Embedded Systems Development.
Tools: Microsoft Excel, SharePoint, Word.
Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent attention to detail and communication skills.
Collaborative and able to work well in team environments.
Passion for continuous learning and innovation.
High emotional intelligence and professional integrity.
Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodology and DevOps workflows.
Understanding of security best practices (OWASP, SSL/TLS).
Knowledge of data governance, compliance, and QMS processes.
Experience with industrial/mining systems and advanced energy technologies is a plus.
