Job Title: Senior Power BI Developer
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Power BI Developer to join our client’s team at a leading logistics company based in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining Power BI reports and dashboards to provide insights and drive data-based decision making for the organization.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain Power BI reports and dashboards to visualize and analyze data from various sources within the organization
– Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into meaningful insights and visualizations
– Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the reports and dashboards
– Optimize and streamline existing reports and dashboards for improved performance and usability
– Stay up-to-date with the latest Power BI features and best practices to continuously improve the reporting capabilities of the organization
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience working with Power BI in a business intelligence or analytics role
– Strong proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying
– Experience with data modeling and building complex Power BI reports and dashboards
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with business stakeholders
– Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines
