Key Responsibilities:

• Supervision & Leadership: Lead and supervise all maintenance processes and operations.
• Budget Management: Track expenses and oversee the maintenance budget.
• Machinery Maintenance: Ensure all machinery is well-maintained and operating at optimal standards.
• Maintenance Procedures: Develop and implement effective maintenance procedures.
• Inspections & Problem Resolution: Conduct regular inspections to identify issues and resolve them promptly.
• Repair & Installation Planning: Plan and manage all repair and installation activities.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all team members adhere to safety policies and procedures.
• Scheduling & Cost Evaluation: Assign repair schedules and evaluate repair cost estimates.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain daily progress reports, logs, and relevant documentation.
• Stock & Supplies: Oversee equipment inventory and place orders for new supplies as needed.

Requirements:

• A relevant tertiary qualification (e.g., Millwright, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or similar).
• A minimum of 5-10 years experience in a similar role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Good understanding of regulatory compliance, health and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, GMP, HACCP).
• Strong project management skills, including planning and executing maintenance activities.
