Senior Investment Analyst Full Time

Position: Senior Investment Analyst (CFA Level I Minimum)

Location: Rivonia, JHB, GP

The Senior Investment Analyst will be responsible for conducting in-depth research and analysis on potential investment opportunities across various asset classes, including equities, fixed income, and alternative investments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, risk management, and market research.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research on potential investment opportunities, including company financials, industry trends, and macroeconomic factors
• Develop financial models and valuations to assess the potential return and risk of investments
• Monitor and evaluate market trends to identify investment opportunities and risks
• Prepare investment recommendations and present findings to senior management
• Collaborate with portfolio managers and traders to execute investment strategies
• Stay current on market developments and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions
• Mentor junior analysts and guide research methodologies and best practices

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field
• CFA Level I minimum, progress towards CFA Level II preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in investment analysis or related field
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of investment principles, asset classes, and market dynamics
