Resident Engineer (x2) – Engineering Consulting Firm Full Time

Are you a skilled and dynamic Resident Engineer seeking a new opportunity? Our client, a leading Consulting firm in Midrand, is looking for someone like you to play a pivotal role in their projects.

As a Resident Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of managing and overseeing the technical aspects of construction projects. Your expertise will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and up to the required quality standards. You’ll tackle construction-related challenges head-on, ensuring compliance with regulations and specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee construction projects from inception to completion
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams
• Ensure adherence to regulations, specifications, and quality standards
• Monitor project progress and address any issues or delays promptly
• Resolve construction-related problems and conflicts
• Coordinate effectively with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Prepare and review project documentation, including reports and drawings

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Resident Engineer in Consulting
• Strong knowledge of construction principles, practices, and regulations
• Excellent project management and problem-solving skills
• Effective communication with clients, contractors, and stakeholders
• Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools
• Ability to collaborate within a team environment
