Hire Resolve’s client in the manufacturing industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Quality Inspector in Kempton Park, Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
Conduct quality inspections on raw materials, in-process components, and finished products.
Use precision measuring equipment (e.g., micrometers, vernier calipers, height gauges) to verify dimensions and tolerances.
Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to ensure product compliance.
Document inspection results accurately and maintain detailed quality records.
Report non-conformances and assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Ensure that all outgoing products meet customer quality standards.
Liaise with customers during audits or quality-related visits, representing the company professionally.
Support internal and external audits as needed.
Ensure adherence to ISO 9001 or other relevant quality standards and procedures.
Promote continuous improvement in production and quality assurance processes.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a manufacturing quality control/inspection role (preferably tubing, metal fabrication, or similar).
Strong knowledge of measuring instruments and quality inspection tools.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Good verbal and written communication skills, especially in customer-facing situations.
Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
Must have own, reliable transport.
Matric (Grade 12) – a technical qualification or trade certificate would be an advantage.
Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems preferred.
Willing to work shifts or overtime when required.
