Professional Engineer Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client, a well-established engineering consultancy, is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Professional Engineer specializing in Civil projects and Structural design. This position is based in Westville, KZN.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead civil engineering projects from concept to completion
• Undertake feasibility studies and site investigations
• Prepare detailed designs and drawings
• Provide technical advice and guidance to clients
• Perform structural analysis and calculations
• Ensure compliance with relevant codes and regulations
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals
• Oversee construction activities and conduct site inspections
• Manage project budgets and timelines

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PrEng) registration with ECSA (non negotiable)
• 5 years pre-registration, 5 years post registration or 10 years total
• Extensive knowledge of civil design principles and practice
• Advanced skills in structural analysis and design software
• Strong project management and leadership abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Experience in civil projects and structural design.
• Experience of leading design team.
• Experience in running projects.
• Client interface experience would be good.
• Computer skills.
• Prokon or similar.
• Autocad or similar.
• Revit would be of benefit.
• Microsoft suite.
