Job Title: Production Manager
Location: Cape Town
Hire Resolve’s client is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Production Manager to join their team in Cape Town. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the production process, ensuring that products are manufactured in a timely and cost-effective manner while maintaining high quality standards. The Production Manager will also be responsible for managing a team of production staff and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet customer demand and achieve production targets
– Monitor production processes to ensure efficiency and quality standards are met
– Implement and oversee production policies and procedures to ensure compliance with company standards and regulations
– Manage and motivate a team of production staff, providing training and support as needed
– Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, quality control, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations
– Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions
– Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources
– Ensure a safe working environment for all production staff and adhere to health and safety regulations
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management
– Strong leadership and team management skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Proven track record of achieving production targets and quality standards
– Knowledge of production processes and best practices
– Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
– Experience with lean manufacturing principles is a plus
