Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Primavera P6 Planner with expertise in EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) for our mining operations in Kriel, MP. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining project schedules using Primavera P6 software, as well as coordinating with various departments to ensure project timelines are met. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and maintain project schedules using Primavera P6 software
– Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects
– Monitor and track project progress, identify delays or issues, and propose solutions
– Analyze project data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
– Provide regular updates and reports on project status to management and stakeholders
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of project schedules with overall business objectives
– Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
– Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Primavera P6 Planner in the mining industry
– Strong understanding of EC&I (Electrical, Control & Instrumentation) principles and practices
– Proficiency in Primavera P6 software and other project management tools
– Excellent organizational and communication skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations
