Operations Specialist Full Time NEW

Hire Resolve’s client is looking for an Operations Specialist to join their IT department in Johannesburg, Gauteng. The candidate must have demonstrated extensive experience in Computer Information’s systems and networking development and maintenance. An Outstanding Operations Specialists has to keep up with advancements in the field and promote technological innovation at their companies.

Responsibilities:

• Performing analyses on Internal IT Infrastructure and Information Systems efficiency and integration
• Reporting to management on IT Infrastructure and Information Systems development, implementation, and progress.
• Collaborating with development teams and departments, as well as incorporating user feedback.
• Ensuring IT Infrastructure and Information Systems innovation and implementation
• Maintain, install and Administrate Database infrastructure
• Identify, investigate, propose/recommend, install any IT support ore reporting or other requested Software

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer information systems, management information systems, or similar.
• At Least 5 years’ experience working and maintaining, installing, customising and optimising Databases (SQL, MySQL, Oracle).
• Knowledge of database structure languages, such as SQL or SQL/PSM
• Has a full understanding of the IT SDLC
• At Least 3 years’ experience working and maintaining, installing, customising and optimising Linux servers
• Advanced knowledge of IT Infrastructure and Information Systems innovation and integration.
• Knowledge of database design and theories
• Ability to work with data architects and other IT specialist to set up, maintain and monitor data networks
• Experience with server installation and maintenance
• Ability to diagnose faults, incidents, and problems, and implement required changes.
• Ensuring optimal hardware and software functionality, as well as network security.
