National Key Account Manager Full Time NEW

Hire Resolve, a leading recruitment agency, is currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our client as a National Key Account Manager in Johannesburg. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and growing key accounts across various industries.

Responsibilities

• Identify and prioritize key customers in Catering, Recreation, and Fitness sectors based on size and relevance.
• Develop long-term visions for vertical and horizontal distribution and sales growth.
• Collaborate closely with local Trade Marketing, Brand Marketing, and On Premise Marketing teams for industry insights and focus areas.
• Conduct annual business planning including budget forecasts and volume projections.
• Create activation plans for each Key Account to maximize performance.
• Maximize existing customer performance through effective joint business planning.
• Acquire new customers within relevant national universe in targeted channels.
• Negotiate win/win partnership agreements to add mutual value.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for business leverage and success.
• Ensure executional excellence on account level using cross-departmental resources.
• Understand customer structures, decision makers, influencers, and staff dynamics.
• Utilize insights to refine strategy, marketing plans, and meet customer needs.
• Optimize route-to-market environment for efficient product placement.
• Continually research and respond to evolving customer needs with beneficial initiatives.
• Foster effective partnerships to position as a key supplier driving profitable growth.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree (preferred) in Business or Marketing
• 5 years in Account Management (beverage industry preferred)
• Strong On Premise industry knowledge, contacts and experience in the On Premise environment.
• Good understanding of the route-to-market for these channels
• Have knowledge of or worked with Catering and/or Fitness companies
• Must be energetic and tenacious
• Preferred age range 35 and younger.
