Manufacturing Manager – Trade & Technical industry Full Time NEW

Hire Resolve’s client in the Trade & Technical industry is urgently seeking the expertise of a Manufacturing Manager in Centurion, Gauteng.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily manufacturing duties and procedures.
• Optimize manufacturing processes (SOPs, GMPs).
• Manage staff including training, performance, working hours, resource planning, discipline and absenteeism.
• Take appropriate action on non-conformances.
• Work with procurement to ensure adequate stock levels.
• Maintain precise records of inventory (raw materials, intermediates, finished products) including FIFO, picking, packing, receiving and dispatch.
• Coordinate incoming and outgoing deliveries.
• Create production schedules and manage picking area replenishment.
• Plan bin layouts in line with efficiencies and compliance.
• Conduct regular stock checks.
• Ensure timely order fulfillment from start to finish.
• Hold start and end of day meetings with the manufacturing team.
• Issue batch cards and communicate production priorities.

Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualifications would be an advantage.
• 5+ Years’ experience within a similar role.
• Minimum 2 years in a managerial role.
• Experience in the chemical industry would be an advantage.
• Experience in inventory management, warehousing and logistics.
• Knowledge of OHSA and FSSSC regulations.
