Managing Director Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client is looking for a Managing Director to join their team in Pretoria, Gauteng. They are seeking a highly accomplished and experienced Managing Director to lead About it Group into its next phase of growth. The Managing Director will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, operational efficiency, and financial performance of the company. This is a senior leadership role requiring exceptional leadership, strategic
thinking, and business acumen.

Responsibilities: 

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company’s long-term strategic plan, aligning it with market trends and competitive landscape. This includes setting strategic priorities, identifying new opportunities for growth, and overseeing the development of key initiatives.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of the company’s operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and adherence to best practices. This includes driving process improvements, optimizing resource allocation, and managing risk.
• Financial Performance: Responsible for the company’s operational financial performance, including revenue generation, direct cost management, and profitability. This includes developing and monitoring budgets, analysing financial statements, and making strategic financial decisions.
• Team Management: Lead, motivate, and mentor a high-performing team. This includes recruiting, developing, and retaining top talent, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment, and delegating effectively.
• Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, board members, customers, and partners. This includes effective communication, transparency, and proactive engagement.
• Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company’s market reach and revenue streams across its existing and new products and services.
• Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to the company’s operations and financial performance. This includes implementing robust risk management processes and procedures.
• Compliance and Governance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies. This includes overseeing internal controls and governance procedures. 
• Reporting & Communication: Prepare regular reports and presentations on the company’s performance to the board of directors and other key stakeholders.

Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in a senior management role, with a proven record of accomplishment of success in leading and growing businesses.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful strategic plans.
• Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets and financial performance.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the business solutions industry.
• Excellent knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
