Are you an experienced logistics professional ready to lead a fast-paced supply chain team in the meat processing and cold storage industry? We’re seeking a proactive and strategic Logistics Supervisor to oversee warehouse operations, transportation logistics, inventory control, and regulatory compliance in Cape Town.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage end-to-end logistics operations across warehousing, dispatch, and transportation.
Oversee inventory control, audits, and demand forecasting.
Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective deliveries.
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and transport regulations (local and international).
Monitor logistics KPIs and drive cost savings and process improvements.
Lead and mentor a team of logistics staff, drivers, and coordinators.
Implement and manage logistics systems (WMS/TMS/ERP) to optimize efficiency.
Support customer service delivery through effective logistics execution.
5–7 years’ experience in logistics or supply chain management, with 3+ years in a supervisory role.
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business Administration.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proficient in logistics software, inventory systems, and route optimization tools.
In-depth knowledge of food manufacturing or cold storage logistics is advantageous.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel between sites as required.
