Position: Lead Engineer

Hire Resolves client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lead Engineer to join their team in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. As the Lead Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing a team of engineers to ensure the successful completion of projects and the efficient operation of engineering processes.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and support as needed
• Develop and implement engineering strategies to meet project goals and deadlines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive product development and innovation
• Conduct risk assessments and quality control to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
• Analyse data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and optimisation
• Provide technical expertise and guidance on engineering projects and initiatives
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and technologies to drive innovation and continuous improvement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field
• Proven experience in a leadership role within an engineering team
• Strong project management skills with the ability to drive results and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Thorough knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and tools
