LCL Export Agent Full Time

A leading Information Technology company is seeking a LCL Export Agent to join their team. The Hamburg LCL Hub Export Agent is responsible for executing Export LCL hub duties in strict alignment with Local, Regional, and Global LCL policies, driving operational excellence, cost leadership, and customer satisfaction. The role is key to supporting LCL growth locally, regionally, and globally, while ensuring compliance with all company policies.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure local and trans-shipment cargo moves as booked, with a target of 99% on-time movement.

• Coordinate loading of all consolidation containers with CFS, ensuring all loads are completed within agreed timeframes.

• Keep sailing schedules current and communicate changes to all relevant parties within 24 hours.

• Always follow the global routing guide and carrier policy.

• Perform any other duties as required, supporting the continuous improvement of the LCL export process.

Minimum Requirements:

• Self-Management – We don’t believe in micromanagement. You need to possess the drive and ability to take a project and run with it.
• Minimum 3 years of overall industry experience, with at least 1 year of experience handling LCL shipments
• Solid understanding of NVOCC LCL business, including documentary requirements, CFS operations, and ground transportation
• Prior experience with a global LCL carrier or forwarding/logistics compan
• Technical – Understanding technical structure and how to deliver technical projects is key
• Logic – Things don’t always make sense. You need to have the ability to work through and make logical sense of complicated and often illogical solutions and processes
• Language – Our Company has a global footprint, with offices and clients practically everywhere. The ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English, is a must. Other languages could prove to be useful.
