Junior Implementation Consultant Full Time

Job Overview

The Junior Implementation Consultant supports the successful delivery and implementation of software solutions for clients. The role involves system configuration, client onboarding, data preparation, testing, and go-live support. Depending on experience, the consultant may manage smaller implementations independently or assist senior consultants on larger projects.

When implementation demand is low, the role contributes to business analysis, quality assurance, documentation, validation, and client support activities.

This is a client-facing, delivery-focused position requiring flexibility, strong problem-solving skills, and willingness to travel when required.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, implement, and support software solutions
• Assist with client onboarding, data validation, and go-live processes
• Support or lead implementation tasks based on experience level
• Work closely with Business Analysts to understand and apply system requirements
• Execute and support testing activities (UAT, system validation, defect tracking)
• Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting
• Prepare and maintain implementation documentation
• Liaise with clients to ensure smooth delivery and issue resolution
• Travel to client sites across South Africa when required

Key Requirements

• Exposure to software implementation, systems delivery, support, or testing
• Understanding of software development and delivery lifecycles
• Strong attention to detail and structured problem-solving skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Professional, client-focused approach
• Ability to work independently and within a team
• Willingness to travel with a valid driver’s licence
• Relevant qualification in IT, Information Systems, or related field (advantageous)
