Position overview:
Hire Resolve is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our client’s esteemed team in the fuel industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks, including preparing financial reports, reconciling accounts, and analyzing financial data. Responsibilities:
– Assist with month-end financial reporting and analysis
– Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts
– Prepare and maintain financial records and documents
– Assist with budgeting and forecasting
– Analyze financial data and provide recommendations for improvement
– Assist with audits and tax compliance
– Perform ad-hoc financial tasks as needed

Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
– 3+ years of relevant experience in accounting or bookkeeping
– Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, Sage Intact is a Plus
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
– Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
– Experience in the fuel industry or similar is a plus
