Investment Analyst Full Time

Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Investment Analyst to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, analyzing financial data, and making recommendations for investment opportunities. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:
– Conduct research on potential investment opportunities
– Analyze financial statements and perform valuation analysis
– Prepare investment reports and recommendations for senior management
– Monitor and evaluate the performance of existing investments
– Stay up-to-date on market trends and economic indicators
– Collaborate with other team members on various projects
– Communicate findings and recommendations to internal and external stakeholders

Qualifications:

• Chartered Accountant or CFA preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree, preferably with a major in finance, economics or statistics.
• 3+ years of relevant work experience within financial services industry (after completing their articles, ideally in corporate finance/private debt/banking/private equity.)
• Excellent commercial focus, with understanding of financial markets.
• Strong private credit and private equity valuation skills.
• Excellent reporting, presenting and communication skills.
• Strategic thinking and organisational skills.
• Proven analytical and financial modelling skills.
