Industrial Engineer – Aerospace industry Full Time NEW

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a skilled Industrial Engineer to join their team in the aerospace industry in Gauteng. The ideal candidate will be responsible for improving efficiency and productivity within their manufacturing processes while ensuring quality standards are met. The Industrial Engineer will work closely with production teams to implement process improvements, optimize workflow, and reduce costs. Additionally, the candidate will be responsible for analyzing data, conducting time studies, and identifying areas for improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity within manufacturing processes
• Optimize workflow and layout to minimize waste and reduce production costs
• Conduct time studies and analyze data to identify areas for improvement
• Design and implement lean manufacturing techniques to improve quality and reduce lead times
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new processes or technologies
• Monitor and analyze production processes to ensure quality standards are met
• Continuous improvement of production processes through data analysis and problem-solving
• Participate in project management activities to support new product launches or process improvements

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the aerospace industry
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and techniques
• Proficiency in data analysis and process optimization
• Experience with process improvement tools such as Six Sigma or Kaizen
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of aerospace industry standards and regulations is a plus
