Head Of Development Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client is searching for a talented and experienced Head of Development to lead their growing development team. As Head of Development, you will be responsible for the entire development lifecycle of their products, from ideation and concept to development, testing, and deployment. You will be a key member of the leadership team and will play a critical role in shaping the future of their technology products.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction for the development team, including software engineers, QA testers, and DevOps engineers.
• Define the technical vision for the company’s products and ensure that their technology stack is aligned with their business goals.
• Develop and implement a software development methodology that is efficient, scalable, and promotes high-quality code.
• Oversee the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and design to development, testing, and deployment.
• Manage the development budget and ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Stay up-to-date on the latest technologies and trends in software development.
• Identify and implement new technologies that can improve their products and development processes.
• Mentor and coach developers to help them grow their skills and careers.
• Collaborate with other teams, such as product management, sales, and marketing, to ensure that their products meet the needs of their customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Minimum 10 years of experience in software development leadership
• Proven track record of leading and motivating high-performing development teams
• Experience in developing and implementing software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum)
• In-depth knowledge of software development best practices
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles
• Experience with a variety of programming languages and technologies (e.g., Java, Python, C++, cloud platforms)
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
