Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a highly skilled Finance Manager to join their remote team in South Africa and will oversee financial strategy, reporting, and controls. The successful candidate will also play a key leadership role in ensuring accurate financial management, compliance, and strategic financial planning to support business growth and operational efficiency. This role reports directly to the CEO and collaborates closely with cross-functional teams.
Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with business goals.
Provide financial insights and recommendations for strategic decision-making.
Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes.
Oversee financial operations, ensuring strong internal controls and regulatory compliance.
Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk.
Monitor and report on key financial metrics and company performance.
Prepare and present financial reports to the CEO and management team.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial reporting standards, and company policies.
Oversee audits and liaise with external auditors as needed.
Supervise and support the Finance Administrator in daily financial tasks, reconciliations, and reporting.
Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
Maintain and improve financial systems, including QuickBooks, Airtable, and other financial tracking tools.
Lead and develop the finance team, ensuring efficiency and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with sales, procurement, and logistics teams to align financial operations with business objectives.
Participate in management meetings, providing financial guidance and insights.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
Professional qualification (e.g., CIMA, ACCA, or CA) is advantageous.
6+ years of experience in financial management, accounting, or a similar role.
Experience with QuickBooks (Online or Desktop) is essential.
Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management.
Familiarity with Airtable, Google Drive, and financial systems is a plus.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in financial management.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and adaptable to evolving business needs.
