Job Title: Financial Administrator – Construction
Location: Pretoria
The Financial Administrator will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities for construction projects in the company. They will work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and budget management. Key Responsibilities:
1. Prepare and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.
2. Track project expenses, revenue, and margins to ensure profitability.
3. Process project invoices, purchase orders, and payments in a timely manner.
4. Monitor cash flow and assist in managing project cash flow requirements.
5. Reconcile project accounts and financial reports with corporate accounting team.
6. Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports for senior management.
7. Provide financial analysis and recommendations to improve project performance.
8. Ensure compliance with company financial policies and procedures.
9. Liaise with project managers, suppliers, and subcontractors on financial matters.
10. Support financial audits and provide documentation as needed.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
– 3+ years of experience in construction or related industry.
– Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial software.
– Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
– Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Knowledge of construction financial processes and regulations.
