Electrician Full Time

A leading food company situated in Cape Town is urgently seeking the expertise of an experienced Electrician to join their team.

The successful incumbent for this position will be responsible for:

• Repairs and preventative maintenance on fast moving production equipment.
• Fault Finding.
• Breakdowns.
• Point to point checks on control and power systems.
• Read and correctly interpret electrical diagrams.
• Assist the department manager with ad-hoc duties.

Key requirements:

• Trade Tested Electrician
• A minimum of 5 years’ supervisory experience with strong leadership skills and good work ethic, must be willing to work overtime and standby.
• Must have manufacturing experience.
• Planning of maintenance tasks and breakdowns.
• Must be able to work under pressure.
• Computer literacy.
• A knowledge of Sage will be advantageous.
