Electrical Engineer – Durban Full Time

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team in Durban. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and supervising the installation of electrical systems for a variety of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Designing electrical systems for buildings, machinery, and equipment
• Developing plans, specifications, and cost estimates for electrical projects
• Conducting testing and inspections of electrical systems to ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards
• Supervising the installation and maintenance of electrical systems
• Providing technical support and training to staff and clients
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and advancements in electrical engineering

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering
• Proficient in AutoCAD and other design software
• Strong technical and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations
• Experience working on industrial, commercial, and residential projects is a plus
