Job Title: Draughtsman
Location: Cape Town
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Draughtsman to join our client and their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong attention to detail, excellent drawing skills, and the ability to create accurate technical drawings for a variety of projects. The Draughtsman will work closely with engineers, architects, and other professionals to produce detailed drawings that adhere to industry standards and project requirements.
Responsibilities:
– Create detailed technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
– Collaborate with engineers, architects, and other professionals to understand project requirements and objectives
– Review and interpret design specifications, schematics, and blueprints
– Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings by verifying dimensions, materials, and other details
– Make revisions to drawings as needed based on feedback from team members
– Maintain organized and up-to-date files of drawings and other project documentation
– Adhere to industry standards and best practices for technical drawing and drafting
Requirements:
– Previous experience as a Draughtsman or similar role
– Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as Civil 3D, AutoCAD or SolidWorks
– Strong attention to detail and accuracy
– Excellent drawing and drafting skills
– Ability to interpret technical specifications and blueprints
– Knowledge of industry standards and best practices for technical drawing and drafting
– Strong communication and collaboration skills
