Director, Solutions & Services Full Time

Hire Resolve’s client is seeking a Director, Solutions & Services who will be responsible for directing and managing expert teams to deliver customized solution design and management, project delivery, and system product development. This role encompasses leading solution architects in pre-sales activities and proposal preparation, guiding technical managers in global project execution, and collaborating with product marketing to drive the roadmap and development of eDocument issuance systems. The Director will ensure the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions that meet client needs and align with the company’s strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Solution Design & Management:
  • Lead and mentor a team of Solution Architects, actively participating in the formulation of system solutions for potential business opportunities.
  • Oversee and contribute to the preparation of comprehensive technical proposals, including high-level application and system architectural design, implementation recommendations, and the selection of appropriate vendor products.
  • Ensure accurate estimation of system integration resources to support overall bidding strategies and submissions.
  • Drive technical pre-sales activities, including technical consultancy, demonstrations, and proof-of-concepts, to potential customers and partners to facilitate sales efforts.
• Projects Delivery:
  • Lead and manage a team of Technical Managers, actively participating in the execution of global projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and customers to conduct functional design, application and system architecture, solution development, and infrastructure deployment.
  • Ensure the team provides effective post-implementation services, functioning as the 2nd or 3rd level of support for deployed solutions.
• System Product Development:
  • Liaise closely with the Product Marketing team to define the product roadmap for eDocument issuance systems, covering areas such as Data capture, Key Management, and Personalization.
  • Lead and direct the System Product Development team to build and enhance specified products in accordance with the defined roadmap.

Minimum Requirements: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in enterprise application design and deployment, with at least 5 years in team leadership roles. Candidates with less experience may be considered for a secondary level role.
• Highly Preferred: Experience in secured issuance of electronic documents such as national ID cards, driving licenses, and passports.
• Highly Preferred: Experience in software product design, development, and management.
• Highly Preferred: Experience in information security utilizing electronic documents, cryptography, and PKI (Public Key Infrastructure).
• Proficient in Application/Systems Architecture design and implementation across various system hosting environments (on-premises/clouds).
• Strong knowledge of application development using on-premises/cloud-based deployment, Openware Software, RESTful APIs, and Kubernetes development on various operating platforms.
• Knowledge and experience with programming languages such as Flutter, Java, J2EE, C++/C#, .NET, TypeScript, NodeJS, and databases (PostgreSQL, MS-SQL/Oracle/MySQL).
• Knowledge of infrastructure (servers, network, storage) security and sizing on various operating platforms.
• Preferred: Knowledge in information security concepts such as smartcards, PKI, and cryptography.
