Depot Manager Full Time NEW

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of depot operations, including receiving, storage, and dispatch of products
• Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure adequate supply for production and distribution
• Coordinate transportation and delivery schedules to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements related to food safety and workplace safety
• Supervise depot staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling employees
• Develop and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and productivity
• Work closely with other departments, such as production and sales, to coordinate depot activities
• Implement and enforce company policies and procedures related to depot operations
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to track depot performance and identify areas for improvement
• Maintain a clean and organized depot facility to ensure a safe and efficient working environment

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field
• Minimum of 7-10 years in managing silo bag depot sites with emphasis on wheat, maize and soybean
• Grading certified(Maize and Soyabeans)
• Fumigation certified
• Health & Safety certified
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other related software programs
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and compliance requirements
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Must be fluent in Afrikaans
