Demand Fulfilment Full Time NEW

A leading Food Production and Distribution company is seeking a Demand Fulfilment professional to join their team in Cape Town. This role oversees the entire order fulfilment process, including order entry, administration, and distribution, while ensuring that customer service standards are met and inventory levels are optimized to minimize costs. The ideal candidate will manage warehouse replenishment, track shipments to ensure on-time delivery, and coordinate with various departments to resolve operational issues and support sales objectives. Responsibilities:

• Receiving and processing orders through to the invoicing stage.
• Ensuring customer service standards are met and maintained.
• Adhering to control measures within budgeted parameters.
• Verifying and resolving all debtor claims.

• Managing and replenishing stock levels across all warehouses.
• Planning, scheduling, and tracking deliveries to optimize consignment alongside warehouse stock levels.
• Managing all damaged and expiring inventory.

• Planning shipments based on product availability and specific customer requests.
• Preparing all necessary documentation related to shipments.
• Achieving customer service level targets focused on on-time delivery and order fulfilment.
• Optimizing distribution costs through value chain efficiencies.
• Supporting sales and marketing teams to reach established profit and sales objectives.
• Managing the performance of third-party partners.

• Planning, scheduling, and tracking all export shipments.
• Completing all required shipment documentation for export processes.

Requirements:

• Possession of a Grade 12 certificate.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar demand fulfilment or logistics role.
• Proficiency in computer systems and relevant software.
• Proven ability to coordinate across departments to resolve complex operational challenges.
