Job Title: Contracts Manager
Location: Cape Town, South Africa
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Contracts Manager to join our client’s team in Cape Town. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of contract development, negotiations, and administration. The Contracts Manager will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Responsibilities:
– Develop and review all contracts and agreements, ensuring they are accurate, complete, and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
– Negotiate contract terms and conditions with clients, suppliers, and partners.
– Manage the contract approval process, including obtaining necessary approvals from key stakeholders.
– Monitor contract performance to ensure compliance with terms and conditions.
– Identify and resolve contract-related issues in a timely manner.
– Maintain accurate and up-to-date contract records and documentation.
– Provide guidance and support to internal teams on contract-related matters.
– Assist in the development and implementation of contract management policies and procedures.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
– Proven experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role.
– Strong understanding of contract law and legal principles.
– Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
– Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
– Familiarity with contract management software is a plus.
– Experience in the construction or real estate industry is preferred.
