Civil Technician Full Time NEW

A reputable engineering company based in Cape Town is looking for a civil technician to join its team.

Key Requirements:

• Relevant Degree (Bsc QS / Btech QS)
• Must Be a South African Citizen
• Professional Registration Preferred
• 1 – 2 Years of Experience
• Valid Drivers License (Code 8)
• Must Reside in Western Cape
• Experience in the Replacement of Water/Sewer Pipes, Pipe Bursting Will Be Beneficial

Responsibilities:

• Resource and material management
• Cost and production monitoring
• Effective decision-making and problem-solving
• Timeous monthly measurements and data for progress statements
• Providing support to civil engineers in the design, construction and management of a variety of projects
• Ensuring a project matches client specifications
• Calculating the amount and type of materials needed
• Ensuring work is carried out according to deadlines
• Working on-site and in an office
