Civil Engineer: Roads Full Time

Hire Resolves’ client is urgently seeking a Civil Engineer: Roads to join their team in Durban.

Responsibilities:

• Effective leadership and management of design, production of engineering design reports, traffic studies, preparation of construction procurement documents etc.
• Management of delivery of projects from planning to close out.
• Monthly reporting and cost control.
• Training of Technical staff
• Pavement Design of major routes and highways

Requirements:

• PrEng.
• Minimum of 5 years post-graduation experience in the consulting engineering environment in Transport Infrastructure, specifically in the fields of planning, pavement engineering, geometric design, stormwater drainage design, contract administration and supervision of roads contracts.
• Experience in road rehabilitation design.
• Proven track record in management of a design office.
• Must be able to work independently and be able to interact with relevant stakeholders at management level.
