Civil Engineer (Design Engineer) Full Time

A leading multi-disciplinary engineering consulting company is looking for a Civil Engineer (Design Engineer) to join their team of professionals in Cape Town (CBD).

The purpose of the Design Engineer is to produce technical deliverables of large scale multi-disciplinary infrastructure projects with a specific focus on civil Infrastructure design using Civil Designer and/or Civil 3D is a requirement.

Requirements

• BSc/BEng/BTech Civil Engineering
• ECSA Professional Registration (advantageous)
• 5 or more years with specific Municipal Infrastructure Design experience
• Experience in both greenfield and brownfield projects
• Experience with GCC2015, SABS1200 & COLTO
• Experience of Quality assurance when conducting site inspections
• Experience in working with AutoCAD, Civil Designer or Civil3D
• Knowledge of cost estimating of different design development options
• Knowledge for the preparation of tender evaluation reports

Benefits

• Salary: R400K/yr – R650K/yr, negotiable
