CIMA/SAIPA Trainee Contract

Responsibilities

As a CIMA/SAIPA Trainee, you will be involved in various accounting and finance tasks, including but not limited to:

• Assisting in the preparation of financial statements
• Conducting budgeting and forecasting activities
• Performing financial analysis and management accounting
• Assisting with audits and ensuring compliance with accounting standards
• Supporting the preparation of management reports
• Engaging with clients across various industries, offering exposure to different business environments
• Participating in the preparation and filing of tax returns
• Collaborating with senior accountants and auditors on ad-hoc projects

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• Enrolled in or planning to enrol in the CIMA or SAIPA training program
• Strong academic performance
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently
• Attention to detail and organization skills
• A proactive and ambitious attitude
