Assistant to SARS Registration Specialist Full Time

A leading company in the Finance industry is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join their Durban team as an Assistant to the SARS Registration Specialist. This role supports tax compliance and registration processes and requires a basic understanding of South African tax systems, especially SARS and eFiling. Ideal candidates are proactive, eager to learn, and have some relevant experience or background.

:

• Assist the SARS Registration Specialist with day-to-day duties and client queries
• Help manage client tax registrations, updates, and verifications
• Navigate SARS eFiling and related platforms for submissions and correspondence
• Maintain accurate records of registrations, supporting documents, and correspondence
• Liaise with clients to collect required information and ensure timely processing
• Learn and adapt to internal systems and tools to improve workflow and efficiency
• Keep up-to-date with relevant SARS updates and basic tax legislation

:

• Currently or previously employed at H & W (preferred but not essential)
• Foundational knowledge of tax regulations and SARS procedures
• Practical experience with SARS eFiling platform
• Strong administrative and computer skills
• Willingness and ability to learn new systems and compliance processes
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Good written and verbal communication
